Teaching Talons can bring our multi-award winning team to your school for an unforgettable learning experience in the comfort of the classroom! We have our own jungle themed stand that we bring with us and decorate to make our visit extra special and exciting. Why not save expensive mini bus hire and hours of planning, by letting our team do the hard work for you! We can provide you with DBS copies and a full risk assessment.

 

School bookings are ideal for classroom lessons of 30 children or less and usually last 50 minutes to an hour each.  We get each child up close to the animals, with stroking, handling and feeding opportunities, along with the option of Chip, the performing dog as the grand finale.

We have experience teaching all ages, from pre-school to university students. Each workshop we run is adapted to the year group, learning level and topic of your choice.

For bookings at nurseries and pre-schools, children under 5 don’t directly handle the animals for welfare and safety reasons, but do get up close and stroke the animals. We also bring animals best suited for working with under 5's.
